Opening Day Celebration - Marshall Field, Saturday, April 26

Our annual opening day celebration to kick off the 2008 season will be held on Saturday, April 26 at Marshall Field. This is an opportunity to see all of the players and coaches involved in Minor Baseball. Team photos will also be taken on this date, there will be a Bounce n' Play, craft booth for the kids, concessions and fun for all ages. We'll cap it all off by watching the champion Vernon Diamondbacks play an exhibition double header.

Your coach will have your photo time. Shaw Cable will be on hand, as well as Mayor Lippert and Tom Christiansen so we're looking forward to a fabulous day. Cross your fingers that the weather man will cooperate. Here is the schedule of events:

10:00 AM Team photos begin.
Activities and concessions open
11:30 AM Introduction of dignitaries and teams
1:00 PM Diamondbacks' first game begins
2:00 PM Bounce n' play closes
4:00 PM Photos finish
Concessions close
5:00 PM Conclusion of second Diamondbacks' game
